 Welcome To The Office Of Vice-Mayor
**The Vice Mayor is the Presiding Officer of the Sangguniang Bayan (SB) and signs all warrants drawn from the municipal treasury for all expenditures appropriated for the operation of the Sangguniang Bayan.
**He appoints all employees of the Sangguniang Bayan except those whose manner of appointment is specifically provided under this rule, subject to civil service law, rules and regulations.
**The vice mayor assumes the office of the mayor for the unexpired term of the latter in the event of permanent vacancy as provided under these rules and exercises the powers and performs the duties and functions of the municipal mayor in cases of temporary vacancy as provided under these rules.
