The September 4, 2010 is a great day for Calaoagan because this is the groundbreaking of the 2nd Water Impounding Project of Piat, Cagayan; a project initiative of no other than, Hon. Alvaro (Bong) Antonio, the ever supportive governor of the province of Cagayan.
Attended by most of the Provincial Government Officials, led by the equally ever-supportive Vice-Governor, Hon. Leonides (Odi) Fausto and, one of the most promising leader, Board Member Jhong Llopis. Another most-reliable provincial agriculturist who, came to grace the occassion was, no other than the very-efficient P.A.O. of Dept. of Agriculture, Dr. Mildred Abella.
Also attended the ceremony were the LGU-Piat counter-parts. Especially the D.A. municipal unit officials and men. Together with all the members and officials of ABC*2007-2010, led by Hon. Angel Baluga, most of SB-Members are present, led by no other than our very own Vice Mayor Black Villacete
In a very grateful mode, the unbeatable Mayor Nel emphasized, this is the first-time during his entire 16-years in politics, that a provincial government, led by no other-than Gov. Bong Antonio, has poured-out a very unprecedented project(s) in support for the people of Piat.
Equally grateful was Vice Mayor Black Villacete who, in his remarks inspire everyone to come together to-work hand-in-hand with the provincial goverment in replanting and reviving the vicinity's eco-system so that wildlife would comeback to live again in Piat, more particularly, in northern barangays.
