The Most Progressive Barangay***
Barangay Apayao is the most progressive barrio in-terms of infrastructures. Barely a month of its barangay chairman, the completion of the first water impounding-dam in Piat was accomplished. It also boast a more than 200meters of road cementing which of course be converted into a rice and corn driers during harvest seasons.
*While barangay Apayao claims to be the place where the Sambali Festival was ever conceived, this barangay is the most Itawes speaking-dialect community in-town ..."says barangay chairman Roland".
