In the rightside links you'll find every barangays enumerated according to alphabetical order. The prevailing development project of the unbeatable mayor, Hon. Leonel C. Guzman, is the barangay computerization program. The proponent of this computerization project was able to get the personal-support of the Mayor, sometime in the midst of campaign-period, in April 2007. Although losing his bid on that election-stint, the barangay computerization is in full-swing. To-date, there are already 15-barangays who have been conducted with seminar workshop on basic computer literacy. With Mr. Bernard Guzman, the proponent, have accounted 297-participatns so far attended the said project. And, the effects, advantage and disadvantage, of which, status will be soon reported to the Mayor, Hon. Leonel C. Guzman.
In the recently concluded ABC-elections, the unbeatable mayor emphasized that the need of cooperation and coordination with every bararangay with regards to his priority project -- the clean and green -- is not just a show. He is firm, it would take ground-root to the farthest corner of Piat. The mayor was very incessant to say, that,"Divided we fall, together we stand", -- the long-standing keywords of United States of America. The mayor believes that every endeavor, there is always a need to cooperation and coordination! With that respect, the proponent of this Barangay Computerization Project and Mr. Bernard Guzman, shall be able to develop an informative and interactive website for LGU-Piat. With the cooperation and coordination; with the support emanated from every officials of barangay, plus, the approval of the beloeved Mayor, Hon. Leonel C. Guzman..."We will prevail!!!"
With this emerging technology in this modern world of Information Age, and with the blessings that comes from the Most High, the Almighty God, we should not only be developing an informative and interactive website. Furthermore, this will also encourage us to another endeavor for our beloeved town of Piat and our constituents. We opt to be more tourism and technology friendly-town.
In aiming for all of the above and the power of wireless broadband networking, or the WIFI technology, with our meager resources, we can be able to establish a local area network (LAN), with which, we can be able to develope inter-connection -- the so-called, Wireless Local Broadband Network (WLBN) connecting all the 18-barangays into one-LGU office.
