The LGU-Piat, led by the unbeatable mayor, Hon. Leonel C. Guzman and the workaholic vice-mayor, Atty. Carmelo (Blk) Villacete sponsored this-year's Provincial GirlScouts & BoyScouts Encampments and Jamborettes, respectively, at hacienda VillaBianca Resort, in barangay Maguilling, Piat, Cagayan.
It was such an event..! The mayor took no time for the oppurtunity to express his gratitude to the beloved governor of Cagayan. Hon. Alvaro T. Antonio who helped Piatiņeos hosts this years Provincial Encampment & Jamborette 2008. In his remark, he also praise the people of Piat who has given their unconditional support to this particular event, as he thank all the visitors and campers. . .

In the meantime, the ViceMayor, Atty. Blk Villacete, in his welcoming address, he stressed that although the place was titled in his name, he's only a steward. He said, "everybody, 'the youngs and the adults alike', should enjoy their stay; and feel the place as you own it for this place is for us. . ."
