Barangay Macapil is situated in nearby Tuao, in the other side of the Chico River. Being isolated like barangays Gumarueng, Dugayung and Sicatna, barangay Macapil is the first town going west, to Rizal and perhaps to Kalinga, Apayao.The most common product of Macapil being one of the greenest barrio in Piat, are corn and geen-leafy vegetables. They rarely produce rice, unlike other barrios in Piat, Macapil is one of the meanest population and most peaceful community.
